Friday 17th is not considered to be a lucky day here in Italy, and even the less superstitious fear it a bit. In addition, the weather was threatening rain, with dark clouds and thunders at the horizon. But I can certainly say that it was a very good day indeed.
I met in the afternoon with a bride for a try-on of her wedding dress in an adorable atelier here in Turin, Ombradifoglia: outside it was grey and cold, inside I was heartedly welcomed by Elena – the designer – and the bride’s excitement… which was adding to my own, who was impatient to see the dress and capture every moment with my camera.
It was a great joy to take part to those moments, and to discover a little pearl of creativity and talent in the heart of Turin.
Here are a few shots of the atelier… the dress still remains secret!
Ombradifoglia is in via Catania 16, Turin. If you ever pass by, go in and you won’t be disappointed.
