Pier Paolo and Roberta met at work, two professional figures at the antipodes: he is a programmer, and she is a graphic designer. Collective imagination depicts the first as serious, precise and very organized, while the second as creative and a bit chaotic. On paper, nothing could make anyone think that the spark of love would soon ignite their lives. Clichés exist to be reversed and proved wrong. Pier Paolo and Roberta discovered to have many things in common, first of all two playful, expansive and lively personalities. Spending time with them is like wearing a pair of glasses with colored lenses and re-interpreting life as you wish, because, despite all the paradoxes, absurdities and nonsenses, it is a wonderful adventure.
Their wedding perfectly mirrored their characters, and the choice of the theme couldn’t suit them more: Alice in Wonderland. A day full of joy, smiles and laughs, colours, in the splendid location of a renovated ancient monastery, right in the old town of Cherasco (Piedmont, Italy).
Shooting their most important day has been an honour and a pleasure, and the work soon transformed into a game, as in the best magic spells.
My wish for this awesome couple is that the magic will continue to permeate every day of their life together, and that they will go on facing it with their irony and smiles.
‘And if he left off dreaming about you, where do you suppose you’d be?’
‘Where I am now, of course,’ said Alice.
‘Not you!’ Tweedledee retorted contemptuously. ‘You’d be nowhere. Why, you’re only a sort of thing in his dream!’
