Destination wedding: Tom + Valerie

Love is a universal language.

In August I packed my suitcase and left for Belgium to photograph Tom and Valerie’s wedding with my colleague and friend Emma Espejo. A full day, 24 hours of emotions and dances ‘till dawn (oh yes, Belgians do know how to have fun when it comes to parties!)

I don’t speak Flemish, but it wasn’t necessary to understand how important that day was for Tom and Valerie, and most of all how big and deep their love is. Words, after all, were not needed; there were the smiles, the hugs, the laughters, the tears and the love of families and friends to tell this wonderful story.
