The other Barcelona

I’ve been to Barcelona many times in the course of these last years, but it’s always a deep joy for me to go back now and then. And every time I go back there I feel like I’m home somehow.

Slowly, with time, I’ve got to know and live the city just like any other citizen there, getting familiar with its different rhythms, sounds, words, habits, cultures. I take the metro and don’t need a map, I walk around as if I were in Turin. With time, you realize that the differences almost disappear, because they’re part of you now. (more…)
